Gammel Huset

Heritage house for longer stays, with extra room for extra comfort.

The Gammelhuset was first constructed in 1838, made from timber logs using traditional building techniques. We've updated this home to make it more comfortable, and offers lots of extra space for longer stays.

1800s Charm

This historic home has been updated a little on the inside, but still retains it's traditional character. The house has been in our family for seven generations and from inside you can still see the original timber logs from when it was first constructed.

Modern Features

The ground floor has a basic kitchen with stove and full size fridge/freezer. There is a separate living area that is spacious, and has excellent heating for even the coldest winters. TV and WiFi is connected. The ground floor also has the bathroom with shower.

Bedrooms

Gammel Huset has 4 bedrooms making a total of 7 beds.
- Downstairs is a room with twin beds
- Upstairs has three bedrooms, as one single and two twin beds.
- Bedding sets can be rented as an extra (120kr).

Langtidsboende Lokalbefolkning

Vi leier ofte ut dette lille huset til arbeidere som kommer til Grovfjord for lengre opphold. Det er veldig praktisk og koselig. Det føles litt som et hjem borte fra hjemmet. Vi tilbyr gode priser for arbeidere som trenger et sted å bo i flere uker.
