Skiing in Sør-Troms is a great experience, whether you like leisurely cross-country skiing on groomed trails, mountain skiing or more demanding mountain tours with randonee skiing. The area offers great variation in both landscape and difficulty - with lots of snow, beautiful nature and relatively few people.
Our little patch of Norway, where South Troms meets Narvik, is a skiing, snow-shoe and hiking paradise. Our mountains are not as high as in Lyngen, but they are easily accessible and offer great variety. The best part is how quiet it is here; you are so very often completely alone in the mountains. Just you and nature.
Complete Packages
Elvegård can help skiers by tailoring a full package. When you stay in our cabins or houses we can arrange transfers the start of trails, by road or by boat, or collect you from an alternate destination. In addition to accommodation and transfers, we can also provide meals as part of the package.
At the end of a day on the snow you can rejuvenate your muscles in the sauna or hot tub, or take a dip in the fjord right outside your cabin.
